Pecan And Cacao Granola

This delicious pecan and cacao granola recipe is gluten-free, grain-free, FODMAP friendly and dairy-free. I am having to make batches of this granola every 2-3 days to keep up with demand in my household.

I love it as a snack but it’s also great with berries, coconut yoghurt or nut milk and berries for breakfast. Give it a try!


  • 150gm pecans, roughly chopped
  • 150gm coconut flakes
  • 80 grams sesame seeds
  • 80 grams chia seeds
  • 80 grams pepitas
  • 80 grams sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup rice malt syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder


  • Preheat the oven to 125 degrees celsius
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper
  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl
  • Spread the granola mix on to the baking tray
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, turning the mix over at the 15 minute mark
  • Take out of the oven to cool completely then break into pieces and store in an airtight container
