3 HEALTHY CHOCOLATE RECIPES

We had to honor World Chocolate Day, so what better way to do that than to share some of our favorite healthy chocolate recipes? Why not make yourself some tasty chocolate treats? They are quick, easy, and simple to prepare!

High Protein Double Choc Overnight Weetbix

Double the chocolate, double the love. This recipe is the ultimate chocolate breakfast. It combines a high-protein breakfast with a sweet treat.

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Weetbix 2 x
  • One cup of milk (macros are calculated with oat milk).
  • 20g of chocolate powder protein.
  • 160g YoPro Vanilla Yogurt
  • Sugar-free Hot Chocolate, 2 tsp.
  • Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, 1 Tsp
  • Cadbury Flake 30g

METHOD:

  1. Start by crushing two Weetabix in a container that can be kept in the fridge.
  2. Add the protein powder to the crushed cereal and mix well before patting it down. Be sure to compact it and make it firm.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, maple syrup, and hot chocolate powder until the mixture resembles icing. Pour it over the base.
  4. Sprinkle the Cadbury Flakes over the yogurt.
  5. Set the container in the refrigerator overnight.

 

No Sugar Hot Chocolate

You can make a delicious, guilt-free winter drink in just two easy steps. This sugar-free hot chocolate is so tasty you won’t notice that it doesn’t contain sugar.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, two tablespoons
  • Sweetener: 2 tablespoons
  • No-fat milk powder, 2 tbsp
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • One cup of water

METHOD:

  1. Start by mixing the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract with water.
  2. Continue stirring the powder and water until they are completely mixed.

Low-Calorie Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who knew that a chocolate chip cookie with chunks could have so few calories? Today is your lucky day because we have the perfect healthy recipe for chocolate chip cookies!

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • One egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup
  • Half of brown sugar
  • Almond flour, 1 cup
  • 1/4 Coconut Flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Dark chocolate chips, 85g

METHOD:

  1. Preheat your oven to around 350degF (182degC). Let it heat for about 15 minutes as you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Place a small bowl of coconut oil in the microwave to melt it and make it liquify. Let the oil cool down before adding the other ingredients.
  3. Beat an egg in a large bowl and add brown sugar, vanilla extract, and vanilla extract. Pour the coconut oil into this larger bowl.
  4. Mix the baking soda, almond flour, and coconut flour in a large bowl.
  5. Add the dark chocolate chips slowly, folding the dough while you add them to ensure even distribution.
  6. Use a cookie spoon or a large teaspoon to scoop and distribute evenly the balls of dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. You can use your hands to flatten them slightly and then place the baking tray in the oven.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool down for 10-15 minutes before eating.
